Nawas Trades (Pvt) Ltd is a full-service logistics services provider headquartered in 16, Main Road, Kattankudy – 02 and was established as a Photocopy Bureau on 01 January 1990. In 1992, with the volume of business increased, we had to expand our activities with more services such as Sworn Translation, Communication Agency and Secretarial Services. In 2004, we commenced newspaper delivery for the Sri Lanka’s most prestigious Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd (LAKE HOUSE) to the entire Batticaloa district. Convinced of our experience and reliability the following Colombo-based newspaper publication companies entrusted us the transport and distribution of their daily and weekend publications for the district.

Became The Major Logistics in the Eastern Province

Kaymu Lanka (Pvt) Ltd a subsidiary of the internationally reputed Alibaba Group. The owners of Daraz Brand having monitored our efficient handling of the transportation, distribution and courier services for different Colombo-based companies expressed interest to get partnered with us initially for Batticaloa District in 2018. After three months they appointed Nawas Trades for Ampara District also. In June 2021, with the inclusion of Trincomalee District, we started covering the entire Eastern Province exclusively. Daraz is highly impressed with our efficiency and feedback from their online customers. Apart from Daraz, We work with our logistics market place partners such as Global Parcel Delivery (Pvt) Ltd known as Aitken Spence Express, Dropex, Sitrek, Kapruka & Quickee to support their domestic logistics needs via road transport. We also offer services for them related to warehousing, Customer related services, and delivery of goods. At Nawas Trades (Pvt) Ltd, we proudly stand head and shoulders above our market place partners offering similar logistics services.
